Barbecue Sauce No. 1

3 C Onions, chopped
1/4 C Honey
1 T Garlic clove, crushed
2 T Lemon juice
1 T Salt
1/2 C Parsley, chopped
3 T Worcestershire sauce
1 C Dry white wine
1/2 t Mint, dried
3 T Apple cider vinegar
1 T Colgin\'s Liquid Smoke
2 C Catsup
1/2 t Tabasco sauce
Place all ingredients in a heavy saucepan or Dutch oven and
bring to a boil. Cover and cook, at lowest simmer, for 1-1/2
to 2 hours.
Notes: Slow cooking is the secret of this sauce. If your sauce
should become too thick, thin it with a little white wine.
